Bridge over the River Kwai
The world-famous railway bridge built by Allied POWs and Asian laborers during WWII. You’ll have time to walk across the bridge, take photos and feel the weight of its history.
JEATH War Museum
A small, deeply moving museum housed in replica bamboo huts on the riverbank. Photos, letters and artefacts tell the story of the prisoners and the construction of the Death Railway.
Allied War Cemetery
The beautifully kept Don Rak cemetery is the final resting place of nearly 7,000 Allied POWs who died building the railway. A quiet, respectful stop.
Longtail Boat Ride
A scenic longtail ride along a tranquil stretch of the river, taking in limestone cliffs, jungle and riverside villages.
Death Railway Train Ride
Ride a section of the original Death Railway across the Wang Pho viaduct — a wooden trestle bridge clinging to the cliff above the Kwai Noi river (subject to schedule).
Riverside Lunch
Thai buffet or set lunch at a floating or riverside restaurant with views across the Kwai.
