Please try to keep loud music and noise to a minimum after 22:00 out of consideration for your neighbours.

Please walk your dog with a leash at all times.

We try to avoid street dogs in all areas of Orchid Paradise. If a street dog has found its way in, please do not feed it.

Please pick up all your own dog's excrement.

Please drive slowly and be careful around corners — children and pets may be nearby.

When parking, always make sure you are not blocking any gates or driveways. Do not park in a way that blocks normal exit from the large gates.

No separation required — all trash can go together.

There is no collection from the house. Please bring your trash to the garbage house yourself.

Please do not flush tissue paper down the toilet. Instead, use the water spray next to the toilet (commonly called a "bum gun") to clean yourself, then pat dry with tissue paper.

Since the tissue is only used to dry — not to wipe — it goes into the small bin next to the toilet, not into the bowl.

It takes a little getting used to, but most guests find it refreshing and quickly prefer it. Just as importantly, this habit protects the pipes leading to the septic tank from clogging — meaning the tank rarely (if ever) needs emptying.

Important: Only use the specified dishwasher tablets. Do not use any other soap or detergent.

Pool pump room: Please do not change or adjust any settings in the pool pump room. Everything is automated with timers and serviced by the pool cleaning team.

Before swimming: Please take a quick shower before entering the pool. Sunscreen can make the water cloudy and leave an oily film on the surface.
